We may focus on topics such as enhancing your relationships, increasing your effectiveness in regulating emotions, increasing your assertiveness and backing yourself in decision-making, creating a meaningful life - whatever that looks like for you, and removing any barriers to you reaching those big, life-changing goals you have.
Of course, each session and therapy plan is tailored to you and your needs. I will do my very best to walk with you on your journey, metaphorically hold your hand through the tricky bits, and cheer you on when you have wins and moments of success. As well as share all my knowledge and wisdom with you that is relevant to your situation, or that you are curious about!
The name “The Kind Psychologist” is a nod to my grandmother who instilled kindness in me as a key value. For a long time, I understood that value to mean kindness towards others (and forgot that it also means kindness towards myself). I believe kindness, balanced with self-care and boundaries – i.e., kindness towards ourselves - is a beautiful space to live from, and I encourage and support you to do the same.
